Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LumieGo ("we", "us", or "the app"), published by Novamint Labs, handles your information. LumieGo is available worldwide. By using the app you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information (Sign in with Apple)
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, only on your first sign-in, the name and email address you choose to share. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature we only ever see Apple's private relay address. This information is stored securely with our backend provider (Supabase) and used solely to maintain your account.
Camera, microphone, and media
LumieGo needs access to your camera and microphone to record video, and to your photo library to save the videos you create. Your recordings are processed on your device and saved locally. We do not upload, view, or store your videos, photos, or audio on our servers.
Purchases
If you subscribe to LumieGo Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details.
Advertising and analytics (Meta / Facebook SDK)
LumieGo uses the Meta (Facebook) Audience Network SDK to serve ads and measure their performance. Depending on the tracking permission you grant, the Meta SDK may collect:
- A device advertising identifier (IDFA) to show you relevant ads
- App events (e.g. app install, subscription start) to measure ad effectiveness
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics to help us understand how ads perform
On iOS, your device will prompt you with an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog before any advertising identifier is used. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, only aggregated, privacy-safe measurement is used — no advertising identifier is shared with Meta. If you tap Allow, the IDFA may be used to personalise ads. You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Data collected by the Meta SDK is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy. Meta's tracking domains include graph.facebook.com, connect.facebook.net, and an.facebook.com.
2. How we use information
- To create and maintain your account and let you sign in.
- To provide the app's features (recording, teleprompter, saving to your device).
- To display ads and measure their effectiveness through the Meta SDK (subject to your ATT choice).
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Where your data is stored
Account information is stored with Supabase under appropriate security controls. Your media never leaves your device through LumieGo. Ad-related data processed by the Meta SDK is stored on Meta's servers in accordance with their data retention policies.
4. Data sharing
We share information only with the following parties and only as needed to provide the service:
- Apple — for Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases
- Supabase — for account data storage
- Meta (Facebook) — for ad delivery and measurement, subject to your ATT choice
We may also disclose information if required by applicable law.
5. Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app — open Settings and tap Delete Account in the Account section. When you do, your account record is permanently removed from our database. You may also email us to request deletion.
6. Your choices
- Ad tracking: Deny or withdraw ATT permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → LumieGo.
- Account deletion: Delete your account from within the app at any time.
- Data access & correction: Email us to request a copy of or correction to the data we hold about you.
7. Regional rights
European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including: access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object. Our legal basis for processing account data is contract performance; for ad measurement it is legitimate interest (or consent where required). To exercise your rights, contact us at lumiego.app@gmail.com.
California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and share, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023)
If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) including: the right to access a summary of personal data we hold, the right to correct or erase it, and the right to nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf. You also have the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at lumiego.app@gmail.com. We will respond within 72 hours.
8. Children
LumieGo is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you within the app.
